Back to main page. Deepening release Sedona Method retreat Tuesday 8 October - Tuesday 3 November 2026 Have you ever had someone say to you, "Oh, you just need to let it go"? Maybe you thought, "I'd love to! But how?!" In some situations - for example, when we really need something to hold onto - letting go of certain thoughts or emotions can be easier said than done. So, letting go - how do you do that? As the quote above suggests, when it comes to letting go, it helps if we hold onto something for just a moment. Holding onto it by looking at it, feeling it, acknowledging it, and accepting it. During the "Deepening release Sedona Method retreat" we will focus on this. We will use various methods to connect with ourselves and facilitate the letting-go process. These include the Sedona Method, (yin) yoga, massage, bodywork, and various meditation and visualization techniques. At the start of the retreat, we set an intention: what do you want to let go of, and what is still standing in the way of this letting go? We bring awareness to the stories we tell ourselves and the associated limiting beliefs. We explore how feelings of guilt and shame contribute to this. To arrive at what you need to let go of these stories and the limiting feelings and beliefs. As mentioned, we work with the Sedona Method, which you can continue to apply on your own after this retreat. The Sedona Method is an easy-to-learn technique for releasing negative emotions, stress, and limiting beliefs through targeted questions. By identifying feelings, welcoming them, and exploring your willingness to let them go, you immediately create space, relaxation, and mental clarity. It is based on the principle that emotions are not "facts," but temporary energies that you can release. Letting them go creates space to make choices based on your true desires and values. What makes the Sedona Method unique is that the process of letting go works on three levels: the mind (thoughts/thinking), the heart (feelings/emotions), and the body (physical sensations in the body).
In addition, we enjoy yoga classes. Yin yoga is a calm, gentle form that helps reduce control and focuses on releasing physical and emotional tension. We hold certain poses that deeply affect the connective tissue for an extended period (3-5 minutes). Yoga nidra also brings you into a deep state of physical relaxation while your mind remains clear and conscious. We will primarily use visualization techniques to identify (limiting) beliefs. To dive deeper into our unconscious and thus begin to see our deeper wisdom and unconscious insights. During bodywork, we use our body as a compass to connect with our feelings. We work with breathing, movement, and dance, among other things. This brings increasing awareness of emotional and mental blocks, and these blocks are given more space within the physical body, allowing them to be released. After the retreat, you will be freer to live your life from a place of Meaning & Being :-) ^^^ To Top ^^^ The Facilitators:
Jolanda Dortmans "This year marks my 15th year as an independent entrepreneur. I started out as a career coach, but over the years I've increasingly focused on personal development and providing support for stress-related issues. I've also been working with the Enneagram (a psychological personality model) for nearly 15 years, which offers many profound insights into the subconscious. In addition to one-on-one coaching, I work as a team coach; working with groups is a wonderful process. Bringing people closer together through playfulness and genuine attention is something I learned at the Academy for Organizational Culture led by Danielle Braun (corporate anthropologist). I use the Sedona Release Method, in which I’ve been trained since 2020, weekly in my coaching practice. It helps people learn how to let go on a deeper level and break through entrenched patterns. The method surprises me time and again with its simplicity and power, and - something I find very important - you can start practicing it yourself right away. I’ve been practicing yoga almost my entire life; my mother took me along from an early age. Back then, I wasn’t very aware of the effect yoga has on your physical body and mind. Since I started practicing Yin yoga, I can't go a week without it; the peace it brings and the support it offers in letting go are wonderful. Since my physical body has sometimes let me down, I've been learning more and more about the body in relation to the mind (including at Ananta in Soest). That's why I'm increasingly incorporating systemic and energetic exercises into my coaching. My primary mission is to support as many people as possible in their desire for personal growth on the path to a life with less stress, more joy, and greater authenticity. Katerina Poposka About Katerina Poposka: 'Life invited me to look within at a young age; I realised quite early on that I perceived things differently and was therefore often misunderstood. I adapted in order to fit into society as it is structured, with serious consequences for my health. When I was brought to a real standstill in my early twenties, Yoga and Ayurveda came into my life. I found it fascinating how this ancient knowledge brought me back to life. I trained in Ayurvedic massage therapy and completed a three-year yoga course, which brought me greater awareness and a strong connection with my inner world. I discovered that my mission was to pass this on and continued to develop myself in various forms of yoga and massage, intuition training, energy work, traditional Chinese meridian theory and alchemy. At my practice in Amersfoort, I welcome clients for various massage treatments and guide women through a holistic programme that includes bodywork. I look forward to supporting you in your process with yoga and massage during this retreat. From my yoga and massage practice, I offer various forms of massage and one-to-one guidance in Amersfoort. Rebekka Noest 'Since 1997, alongside my studies in Clinical Psychology at Radboud University in Nijmegen (RU), I have trained and specialised in haptotherapy and a wide range of alternative and holistic treatment methods. I started my own practice in 2004, after working for eight years at the GGZ (mental health care institution) and at a primary care psychology practice. Alongside my work in my practice, I realised a dream in 2010 by founding Sarvata, Centre for Health and Wellbeing in Nijmegen, a centre for complementary therapies. Together with my partner Bas, I ran this centre for 10 years. Now that we have handed over this health centre, we have our hands free to focus our energy on our other dream, the Milagro de Algar retreat centre in Andalusia. There, we offer spiritual holidays, therapy and all kinds of (yoga) retreats. I am a psychologist (NIP) and mental health haptotherapist, energy therapist and EMDR therapist. In addition to these specialisations, I have specialised in trauma, stress and burnout, high sensitivity (HSP), polyvagal therapy and various forms of bodywork. Since 2022, I have been following a training course at the training institute Ananta in Soest, 'The Path of Isis, training to become a high priestess', to further develop my skills in energy-based treatment methods.
