Deepening release
Sedona Method retreat

Wednesday 8 - Wednesday 15 April 2026

During the 'Deepening release Sedona Method retreat', we will focus on releasing. At the start of the retreat, we will set an intention: what do you want to let go of and what things are still standing in the way of this letting go? We will bring awareness to the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves and our lives and to the associated limiting beliefs that make it difficult to let go of things that no longer serve us. We will explore how feelings of guilt and shame contribute to this. To arrive at what you need to let go of these stories and the limiting feelings and beliefs. Letting go creates space to live more from who you really are. There is more space to make choices based on your true desires and values. To get there, we use yin yoga, the Sedona method, and imagination and meditation techniques. Yin yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can help to reduce control and focus on releasing physical and emotional tension by holding certain yoga poses that deeply affect connective tissue and fascia for a long time (3-5 minutes).

The Sedona Method is a simple, quick technique for releasing negative emotions, stress, and limiting beliefs through targeted questions. By identifying feelings, welcoming them, and exploring the willingness to let go, space, relaxation, and mental clarity are immediately created. It is based on the principle that emotions are not 'facts' but temporary energies that you can let go of.

Imagery techniques are therapeutic methods (such as imaginary rescripting, active imagination) that use mental images and sensory experiences to process emotional complaints, traumas and limiting beliefs. They help to reprogram memories, strengthen resilience and unlock unconscious insights.

The Facilitators:

Jolanda Dortmans
About Jolanda Dortmans-Pardaans: After years of working in various (management) commercial positions in the business (HR) services sector, in 2011 I started looking for what really makes me happy and where my core qualities lie. A reorganisation gave me (with the help of an external coach) the opportunity to take the step towards self-employment.

The desire to help people further their careers and/or personal growth was a logical outcome for me. I was inspired by the Enneagram, a psychological development model and a beautiful system for gaining self-knowledge. Based on this inspiration, I developed a career coaching programme, drawing on my own experiences and training.

In addition to the Enneagram Professional coach training (2011) and various in-depth training courses, I am trained to use the Sedona Release Method (2020). This is an effective method for breaking through long-standing patterns.

My main mission is to support as many people as possible in their desire for personal growth and to help them on their way to a life with less stress, more enjoyment and more individuality.

I am pragmatic, open, committed and driven. I always ask the question behind the question, so be prepared for me to take you out of your comfort zone. For the simple reason that this is how I can really help you. 'Making something out of nothing' has always been the common thread and greatest strength in my work.

Katerina Poposka
About Katerina Poposka: Life brought me to my soul mission through profound events. As a young girl, I fled with my parents from war in my home country. I only understood how deeply this experience had affected me in my twenties when I came to yoga after suffering from burnout.
A deep curiosity led me to decide to train as a yoga teacher. During this three-year course, I was taught yoga philosophy and philosophy, chakra theory, yoga postures, meditation and pranayama, among other things. And I noticed that I was beginning to land more and more deeply within myself. I experienced a feeling of 'coming home', something I hadn't felt since fleeing to the Netherlands. Being at home within yourself so that you can take root anywhere and always feel safe within yourself. It is powerful and magical; it gave me the space to let go of control and allow life to unfold in surrender.
I began to remember that as a child I experienced the world with more senses than I and my environment could understand. That I healed with my hands, listened with my heart, saw with my inner eye and felt with my energy body. I remembered what I came here to do. And I began my search for life from my essence with different currents in holistic healing and personal development.

This is what I wish for you too, to transform your life experiences into life force. I would love to guide you in this!

From my yoga and massage practice, I offer various forms of massage and 1:1 guidance in Amersfoort

Rebekka Noest
Rebekka Noest is a NIP psychologist, mental health haptotherapist, energy therapist, trainer, EMDR therapist and retreat host. She has a special affinity with yoga, trauma and mindfulness.

Since 1997, in addition to my studies in Clinical Psychology at Radboud University in Nijmegen (RU), I have trained and immersed myself in haptotherapy and various alternative and holistic treatment methods. I started my own practice in 2004, after working for eight years at the GGZ (mental health care institution) and at a primary care psychology practice.

In addition to my work in my practice, in 2010 I realised a dream by founding Sarvata, Centre for Health and Wellbeing in Nijmegen, a centre for complementary medicine. Together with my friend Bas, I ran this centre for ten years. Now that we have handed over this health centre to two other enthusiastic people, we have our hands free to focus our energy on our other dream, the Milagro de Algar retreat centre (www.milagrodealgar.es) in Andalusia. There we offer spiritual holidays, therapy and all kinds of (yoga) retreats.

I am a NIP Psychologist (affiliated with the Dutch Institute of Psychologists (NIP)) and GZ Haptotherapist (affiliated with the VVH), Energy Therapist (chakra and aura therapy, training in The Path of the Soul, see www.leerwegvandeziel.nl, Reiki I and II) and EMDR Therapist (training with Peter Balde). In addition to my specialisations in haptotherapy, energy work and EMDR, I have also specialised in trauma, stress and burnout, high sensitivity (HSP), polyvagal therapy, all kinds of bodywork, breath therapy, loss/grief and meaning. I am currently following the year-long training course 'The Path of Isis, Training to become a High Priestess' at Ananta in Soest.
