Reviews of the Vinyasa Yoga Retreat (May 2022) with Petra Nooijen.
In May 2022 I went to Spain for a week for the yoga retreat at Milagro de Algar. The house is beautiful, the garden is enchanting and the owners,
Bas and Rebekka, take mega good care of you. This combination makes you feel welcome and at home. Twice a day there are nice, varied yoga classes on the roof or by the pool, always with a beautiful view. Both in the morning and in the evening, the food was ready after the yoga. Around Milagro de Algar there are many beautiful places (city and beach) within driving distance that you can visit. The combination of yoga, rest, cosiness and the beautiful place, makes that I enjoyed this week enormously. It really hurt a bit when I had to leave. I will definitely be back!
El Milagro de Algar! One word Magical!
As a teacher, I was allowed to teach yoga, for which I am very grateful. A special time with beautiful people. Experiencing yoga together at a fantastic place/ accomodation with no less than 2 platforms, a healing garden in the middle of nature where you can immerse yourself in an oasis of peace, silence and healing. Rebekka & Bas give you a warm welcome and know how to create the perfect atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. The food is vegetarian but prepared with love. There are also possibilities for walking, going to the coast or visiting surrounding villages. Really worthwhile.
Do you want to escape the hectic and completely relax, then Milagro de Algar in Andalusia is highly recommended.
The yoga retreat was very nice. The atmosphere was relaxed and easy-going. The small-scale location was perfect to unwind. Between the yoga lessons there was plenty of room to relax in the beautiful garden. The owners were very hospitable. In short, it was a gift to yourself.
In the first week of May 2022, I attended a Vinyasa Yoga Retreat here. I had a marvellous week! Rebekka and Bas are wonderful hosts who are extremely flexible in their services and actively helped to remove obstacles (such as my food allergies). The finca and surrounding grounds are a true paradise which looks no different from the pictures on the website. I stayed in the tipi. For a non-camper such as me this was a pleasant adventure that did not feel like camping at all. All the meals were fresh, copious and very tasty. And the yoga classes were taught by an extremely competent teacher who had something to offer to all the participants and their quite different levels of experience. Add to all this the very strokable cats in and around the premises and my holiday joy was complete. I will definitely return here.
